Ingredients
  

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • to taste salt
  • to taste black pepper
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice (optional)

Instructions
 

  • Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture.
  • Drizzle the chicken with olive oil and rub evenly over both sides.
  • In a small bowl, mix together the garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Sprinkle this seasoning evenly over both sides of the chicken breasts.
  • Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add a little olive oil.
  • Once the skillet is hot, add the chicken breasts and cook for 6-7 minutes on one side without moving them.
  • Flip the chicken and cook for another 6-7 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  • Remove the chicken from the skillet and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing to retain juices.
  • If desired, squeeze lemon juice over the chicken for extra flavor before serving.
