  • 1 piece Beef brisket Choose high-quality USDA Prime or Choice grade
  • 1 lb Pork loin Aim for an internal temperature of 145°F
  • 1 whole Chicken Dry brine for 6-12 hours before smoking

For Smoking Vegetables

  • 2 cups Carrots Choose smaller, thinner carrots for best results
  • 1 bunch Asparagus Smoke for 45-60 minutes at 225°F

Appetizer Ingredients

  • 8 oz Cream cheese For smoking or grilling recipes
  • 8 slices Bacon For wrapping around appetizers

Wood Types

  • 1 cup Hickory wood chips Excellent for beef and pork

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Trim excess fat from the brisket to about 1/4 inch thickness.
  • Dry brine the chicken for 6-12 hours before cooking.

Smoking

  • Preheat electric smoker to required temperature based on meat type.
  • Add wood chips to the smoker for desired flavor.
  • Place the brisket, pork loin, or chicken in the smoker and monitor temperature.
  • Smoke vegetables for 60-90 minutes based on thickness and type.

Serving

  • Let meats rest for 10-15 minutes after smoking before slicing.
  • Serve the smoked vegetables alongside the meats.
