Ingredients
  

For the Salmon

  • 4 fillets salmon fillets Fresh salmon is preferred.
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil Helps keep the salmon moist.

For the Topping

  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese Use good quality cheese for better flavor.
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs Panko is preferred for a lighter texture.
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder For added flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley For a touch of color.
  • to taste salt and pepper Always season to taste.

For Serving

  • 1 lemon wedges Perfect for squeezing over the salmon.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a medium-sized mixing bowl, combine breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, dried parsley, salt, and pepper.
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place the salmon fillets on it.
  • Drizzle olive oil over each salmon fillet and press the breadcrumb mixture on top.

Cooking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
  • Serve immediately with lemon wedges.

Notes

For best results, use fresh grated cheese and keep an eye on the baking time. Broil for an extra crisp if desired.
