Ingredients

Instructions
 

  • Cream Butter & Sugar – In a large bowl, beat 250 g butter, 150 g granulated sugar, and 150 g brown sugar until light and fluffy (about 3-5 minutes).
  • Add Wet Ingredients – Mix in 2 eggs, one at a time, followed by 5 ml vanilla extract.
  • Mix Dry Ingredients – In a separate bowl, whisk together 320 g flour, 5 g baking soda, and 5 g salt.
  • Combine Wet & Dry – Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture. Mix until just combined.
  • Fold in Chocolate Chips – Gently stir in 300 g chocolate chips, reserving a few for topping.
  • Chill the Dough – Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes (up to 72 hours for enhanced flavor).
  • Preheat Oven – Set oven to 175°C (350°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Shape Cookies – Scoop about 2 tablespoons of dough per cookie, spacing them 5 cm (2 inches) apart on the baking sheet.
  • Bake – Bake for 15-18 minutes, until the edges are golden and the centers remain slightly soft.
  • Cool – Let cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.

Notes

For extra chewiness, let the dough chill for 24-72 hours before baking.
